Zack Snyder Is Still Going To Be Wonder Woman 2’s Producer

Zack Snyder's future in the DC Extended Universe might be a little bit hazy after he left the set of Justice League to deal with a family tragedy, but it looks like the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director is still going to be a part of Wonder Woman 2.

Speaking with fans on Vero (via ComicBook.com), Snyder was asked if he was still going to work as the producer of the highly anticipated sequel to Patty Jenkin's Wonder Woman.

Snyder made a quick reply, writing, "Oh, yes."

Because Snyder is producing we're not quite certain how hands-on the filmmaker is going to be in Wonder Woman 2, however, fans shouldn't be so concerned. After all, the Justice League director did co-write the story for the original female-led superhero movie which became one of the biggest successes in the DCEU.

Right now we're not quite certain whether Warner Bros. will bring Snyder back to direct other films in the DC cinematic universe, but before Justice League, the studio relied on the director to help establish their burgeoning superhero franchise.

More recently Snyder has revealed that his next will be an adaptation of The Fountainhead, a book written by the Objectivist author Ayn Rand.

Wonder Woman 2 premieres November 1, 2019.
