Star Wars: The Last Jedi Rumor: Details About Finn and Rose's Adventure

The teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi didn't reveal much about the path the characters will take in the film. One of the characters we don't know much about is Finn (played by John Boyega). Finn is recovering from his duel with Kylo Ren, and at this year's Star Wars Celebration, we learned that he will recover and have an adventure with Rose (played by Kelly Marie Tran). Now the folks at Making Star Wars shared some details about their adventure involving a creature spotted in some set photos that were leaked earlier this year.

Of course, these details are considered rumors for now so take them with a grain of salt, but since the site has a solid track record, we're putting a huge SPOILER ALERT for the following possible spoilery details.

Last March, when filming took place in Dubrovnik in Croatia, some photos of the set leaked that included a huge horse-like creature.

According to MSW, these creatures are called "falthiers" and they are some kind of racing horses. It was said that the planet that the Dubrovnik scenes are filmed for is called Canto Bight, and is often called "the casino planet," which explains the presence of race horses.

In the photo, two people are seen riding one of these falthiers. They're reportedly Finn and Rose. This scene may be connected to another sequence filmed during the Dubrovnik shoot, the speeder chase through Canto Blight's streets.

MSW went on to share details about Finn and Rose's scene:

"Finn and Rose duck into the stables and they're met by an alien that tends to the stables. Inside there are jockeys too (someone has got to ride the falthiers). Finn fast-talks the guy as they steal the falthier and race away on the stolen steed. They're eventually engaged in a fight with the speeder and the fancy Canto Bight guys. After they defeat the guys in the speeder thanks to Rose, they ride up into a coffee shop or cafe and meet their contact as scheduled."

This sounds like a fun chase sequence, and I'm expecting to see some comedic moments in the scene.

Directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to release in theaters on December 15, 2017. The film also features returning stars John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, Andy Serkis, Anthony Daniels, Lupita Nyong'o Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher. Benicio Del Toro, and Kelly Marie Tran and Laura Dern make their Star Wars debut in this film.
