Star Wars Rebels Goes On Hiatus Right Before Releasing Legacy of Mandalore

Star Wars Rebels has decided to go on a short break airing Trials of the Darksaber, the first episode of its two-part Mandolorian saga.

After reviewing the well-received Mandalorian episode of Star Wars Rebels, Lucasfilm's webisode Rebels Recon announced that fans would have to wait for four more weeks till they would get the follow-up to Trials of the Darksaber. The sixteenth episode of the Star Wars series, Legacy of Mandalore, is scheduled to air next month on Feb. 18.

There hasn't been any specific reason as to why Disney and Lucasfilm have delayed the release of one of Star Wars Rebels' most highly anticipated episodes, but atleast we have a new sneak peek clip from Recon to help us anticipate what Sabine and the Ghost Crew will have to deal with in Legacy of Mandalore.

It takes a while, but the new clip hits the 5:51 mark in the Rebels Recon episode. Check it out down here:

From the looks of things, Sabine's path continues to be as choppy and challenging as ever as she and Ezra face down aggressive Mandalorian fighters and their rockets. Confronting one's past is never easy, and Sabine's definitely going to have to slice her way through this one.

Star Wars Rebels episode 16, Legacy of Mandalore, is scheduled to air on DisneyXD on February 18 at 8:30 pm ET/PT.
