Rogue One: A Star Wars Story holds a special place in the hearts of fans, thanks to the story it told about the people who sacrificed their lives to sabotage the Death Star. Donnie Yen's Chirrut Imwe was arguably everyone's favorite character, coining the term "I am one with The Force and The Force is one with me," and taking part in some spectacular fight scenes.
His skills didn't just catch the attention of fans but Luke Skywalker himself Mark Hamill, who told YouTuber Norma Jenner that Imwe might be the best lightsaber fighter in the whole franchise. It might be a silly statement since he only ever held a staff and not a lightsaber. Then again, Rey used a staff before she was one with The Force and ended up being competent with a lightsaber.
Donnie Yen soon found out about Hamill's comments, thanks to a Twitter fan page dedicated to the actor's exploits and gave a thumbs up on the social media platform. It's a shame that Yen's Inwe hasn't been explored since because the character's backstory would make for cool expanded universe reading.
