Star Wars Battlefront II DLC Clears Up Last Jedi Plot Hole

Whether you love or hate Star Wars: The Last Jedi, there's no denying that the film has its fair share of plot holes. From Leia's use of the Force, which could have been explained in Episode IX had it not been for her death, to Admiral Holdo not telling Poe Dameron of her plans to help The Resistance retreat, there are plenty of things for nitpickers to find. Thanks to free DLC for Star Wars Battlefront II, one plot hole has been solved.

In the official Star Wars YouTube channel, it's revealed that the Resurrection DLC shows how The Resistance learned about the weakness of The First Order's Dreadnought ship. The video explains how Imperial commander Iden Versio, her daughter Zay, and Shriv Suurgav transferred the ship's weakness to General Leia Organa.

Some people have also theorized that these plans also contained a map of the ship's layout, which is what Finn and Rose use to find the Light Speed Tracker. While this isn't detailed, it wouldn't be hard to piece both of those elements together. It might not be enough incentive to buy the game but knowing these tidbits does make the overall story of The Last Jedi feel less problematic.

Star Wars Battlefront II is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
