Star Wars Episode VIII Mission to be Part of Disney Parks' Star Tours

This year, Star Tours is celebrating its 30th year run. And with that, fans can also expect a number of activities and events for the Disneyland attraction, particularly a new mission that will be in line with the upcoming Star Wars Episode VIII.

In keeping with Star Tours' ability to be flexible and upgradeable in keeping with the times. What makes the attraction fresh apart from new content that can be taken from the new movies is that the technology enables creators to focus on bringing a good story every time using different elements, as stated in the official website.

"Now that the attraction is celebrating 30 years of galactic adventures (having undergone a major update in 2011 along with the addition of elements from Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015 and an exciting new mission based on elements from Star Wars VIII currently in production). That's what keeps people coming back again and again... to relive the moments they loved growing up watching those films, and to step into the story and experience it in an immersive way as only Disney Parks can deliver."

Currently, there are no concrete plans yet of what elements from the movies will be added to Star Tours. There has been talk of Kylo Ren getting his own modernized TIE fighter, so that can be a good addition. Hopefully, elements of Rogue One will also be included, if only for the engaging story that made the movie a success.
