Pokemon Sun and Moon Anime Teaser Vid Shows Off Z-Moves, Starters & Rotom Pokedex

The newest leak following the release of the Pokemon Sun and Moon demo may be blowing people away with the extent of datamined details.

But that hasn't put a damper to the anime counterpart, which has featured a new promo teaser with its nearing release on Japan TV. The video, seen below, shows a few more scenes, particularly the use of Z-moves by one of Ash's classmates.

There's also a glimpse of Ash using the Z-movie with Pikachu at the start, though we've already seen this way back. We also see some of the announced new Pokemon for the new game, such as Tapu Koko, Mimikyu, Bewear, and some Alolan forms.

There's a glimpse of Team Rocket members Jessie and James, as well as their trusty Meowth—who, funnily enough, presumably get scared of Mimikyu.

The Rotom Pokedex also makes an appearance. In one scene, it's accompanying Ash and Pikachu to one of their adventures. For those who may have missed previous announcements, Pokemon Sun and Moon games will be getting this new convenient tool to help record information seen al throughout the Alolan region. We see it in action in the video, where it seems to have a picture of Rockruff within the screen.

This isn't the only recent teaser released for the anime. Previously, an extended preview was released, running for three good minutes. It featured not only the starter ‘mons in their anime versions, but also Ash's classmates once he goes back to school.

Pokemon Sun and Moon will be out on the Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18. The anime will be aired in Japan starting Nov. 17.
