Pokemon Go Trading Feature, New Incense Spotted in the Game

Data mining is a tricky thing in gaming. While there are some fans who like secrets to be revealed when the developers announce them, others prefer to dive into the code to see what treasures lay ahead.

If you're one of those, then you're in for a treat with Pokemon Go. Reddit users have been posting several new information from the new update. It appears that the long-promised trading feature is already in the game's code.

One Reddit thread in The Silph Road pertains to some new codes that may be referring to trading. These are "Trade_search," "Trade_offer," "Trade_response," and "Trade result." A more comprehensive meaning attributed to each of the code items are as follows:

Trade_search <- you can search for people looking to trade?

Trade_offer <- offer a trade to someone that wants to trade?

Trade_response <- when you offer a trade, they respond with whether or not they will go through with it?

Trade_result <- after an interaction, what happens, who gets what.

If the new trading feature is not enough to get you excited, there's another sighting that suggests that there are possibly two new incense types coming. One is a cool incense, which is speculated to attract ice or water Pokemon. The other is incense floral, which could be for attracting bug or grass type Pokemon.

Of course, all of these are pretty much speculation for now. Pokemon Go developer Niantic Labs has only hinted that trading will come to the game. But it did mention cool features that it's planning to bring to the game.

Personally, one feature I'm waiting for in Pokemon Go is the ability to challenge another player in real time. Imagine being with friends and either battling it out against each other or challenging another player or even group near you that you can spot on the map.

That will bring up the social aspect of the game some notches up. But I'm sure it will also bring with it a lot of repercussions.
