Zombieland Too Adds Ghost Wars Actor Avan Jogia

It looks like Zombieland Too has found itself yet another survivor. Ghost Wars actor Avan Jogia has just been added to the sequel's growing cast.

According to Deadline, Jogia will be joining returning cast members Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Abigail Breslin. He will be reuniting with his A Year of Spectacular Men co-star Zoey Deutch, who was previously confirmed to join the cast.

Jogia is reportedly playing a character named Berkeley, "the epitome of the bad boy musician that you would hate for your daughter to fall in love with." We're wondering if this guy might come between Columbus (Eisenberg) and Wichita (Stone) or become a possible love interest for the young Little Rock (Breslin). Either way, it's good to know that there are more survivors out there in the zombie apocalypse.

The premise for Zombieland Too reads as follows:

"Through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, the Zombie slayers must face off against many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family."

Venom director Ruben Fleischer is set to return to direct the Zombieland sequel. The script for the new film is still written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. The addition of the new cast members could mean that the movie is finally ready to begin production in January 2019.

Zombieland Too is scheduled for release on October 11, 2019.
