In case you missed it, the Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is now available on HBO Max. To celebrate the special cut's release, director Zack Snyder shared a new image of Knightmare Batman.

Snyder shared the photo on his official Twitter account. Check it out below.

Interestingly, the image features the text, "Of course he's real, he's on HBO Max." It's a fun reference at the Knightmare sequence in Batman v Superman, which some fans believe was not a real part of the film's storyline.

The release of the BVS Ultimate Edition is just a teaser of bigger things that are coming to HBO Max. After all, it has already been confirmed that Snyder is currently working of polish up the Justice League Snyder Cut that will finally be available for streaming on the service next year. Needless to say, there's a lot of great things to expect in 2021.

Although Dawn of Justice was one of the most anticipated films of 2016, fans were unhappy with the way the movie turned out. Some believed that the storyline had several plot holes that have remained unanswered until now. Hopefully, thing will finally become clearer in the Ultimate Cut.

Batman v Superman starred Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, and Jeremy Irons. The film was released back on March 25, 2016. However, you can now stream the Ultimate Cut on HBO Max.
