Star Wars: Adam Driver Might Return In Kylo Ren Prequel

It looks like Lucasfilm and Disney still have big plans for Kylo Ren in the future. A new report reveals that a Star Wars prequel focusing on Ben Solo is in development and Adam Driver is expected to reprise his role as the Force user.

The report comes from We Got This Covered, which cites anonymous sources who have confirmed that a Kylo Ren prequel is in the works. Although it is still unclear whether the project will be a new Star Wars film or a series that might air on Disney+, it is expected to follow Ben in his younger years and how he was seduced by Supreme Leader Snoke to turn against Luke Skywalker.

It's an interesting idea for fans who have been wondering about Kylo's descent into the Dark Side. On the other hand, this is already the subject of the Star Wars comic book series The Rise of Kylo Ren. Perhaps the prequel will target fans who are not keen to read comic books. In the meantime, the plan has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

There is little doubt that Kylo's story will somehow come to an end in The Rise of Skywalker, which is set to be the final film in the Skywalker Saga. For now, we're not sure whether the character will survive until the movie's conclusion. However, we're also hoping that he gets a satisfying story arc this December.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will hit theaters on December 20.
