Shang-Chi Star Simu Liu Possibly Confirms MCU Film Already in Production

There is little doubt that people are already excited about Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings, which will introduce Simu Liu as Master of Kung-Fu. Not surprisingly, the Kim's Convenience star may have confirmed that the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe flick has already started production in Australia.

Liu recently shared a photo on his official Instagram account which confirms that he is currently in Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. Take a look at his post below.

It looks like Liu is just enjoying a day at the beach for now but it wouldn't be a surprise if he begins sharing more interesting photos from the Shang-Chi set. We're already looking forward to more awesome updates about the MCU flick.

It was previously confirmed that The Legend of the Ten Ringswill begin production in Australia as well as Los Angeles starting November 1st. That means that Liu still has a couple of weeks to have fun at the beach before he starts working next month. In the meantime, there is little doubt that he is already taking on the role of being a major part of the MCU family. Liu previously reacted to Martin Scorsese's comments about Marvel movies by pointing out that theme parks are wonderful places for the entire family (also, they have churros).

Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and will also star Tony Leung as The Mandarin (the real one, this time) as well as Awkwafina. The film is scheduled for release on February 12, 2021.
