There is little doubt that everyone is hoping for some updates about The Witcher Season 2. Although it may take some time before we could get a teaser from the fantasy series, Henry Cavill wants to make sure fans are aware of what's happening behind the scenes. The Justice League star has just shared a photo of his favorite training spot while working on the Netflix show.

Cavill shared the picture on his official Instagram account. Although it doesn't show the Enola Holmes star in his Geralt of Rivia costume, fans would appreciate a glimpse at the gorgeous scenery. Check it out below.

"Witcher training focuses on three major aspects....speed, explosive power, and fitness. Which can hurt! I haven't had the opportunity to run for miles uphill since Gibralter [sic] many years ago! But there is no better place to get back into that groove than the Lake District here at home in the UK. This place has just stormed into my top 3 favourite places in the world! Absolutely love it," Cavill wrote. He also added the hashtags #LakeDistrict and #Witcher2.

It's great to know that Cavill is making sure he is in his best form for his role in The Witcher Season 2. Hopefully, there will be more updates from the actor in the near future.

The Witcher Season 2 is currently in production which is expected to last until early next year. Although the show has not yet been given a new release date, it is set to return on Netflix late next year.
