Beta Ray Bill Easter Egg in Avengers: Endgame Finally Revealed

He might not be the most popular Marvel character but fans have been hoping that Beta Ray Bill would eventually show up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Interestingly, Avengers: Endgame actually referenced the comic book hero and nobody noticed the planet-sized Easter Egg.

The reference was confirmed in an excerpt of the Endgame script that was shared on Reddit. In the script, the scene where "Bad Nebula" goes up against some aliens is actually set in the "Korbonite home world." There's even a brief glimpse at the planet itself in the film.

I guess the planet Nebula& Gamora are shown on in 2014 in Endgame is the “korbinite home world.” Really cool.

In case you forgot, there's a brief scene in Endgame where 2014 Nebula is shown fighting against a heavily armored alien who almost defeats her but she is saved by Gamora. In the same scene, past Nebula is linked to future Nebula who has returned to 2014 to procure one of the Infinity Stones. You can watch it below.

Unfortunately, it's not an actual cameo from Beta Ray Bill. Nevertheless, it does confirm that Korbonites exist in the MCU and could mean that we'll be seeing Bill joining the heroes sometime in the future.

Fans have been hoping that Beta Ray Bill will be introduced in the MCU for several years now. Although there were speculations that the character would appear in Thor: Ragnarok, it has been confirmed that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has bigger plans for the character. Let's just hope that Bill will be joining the MCU really soon.
