Hugh Jackman Fires Back at Ryan Reynolds Calling Him a 'Fraud'

In case you missed it, the whole Wolverine/Deadpool feud is going strong right now as Ryan Reynolds called Hugh Jackman "an evil man" and "a fraud." Naturally, the Logan star couldn't simply let that slide and has fired back at the 6 Underground actor.

It was previously reported that Reynolds spilled the tea about Jackman on the Today Show Australia after the latter made a "better poster" for Free Guy.

"He's just an evil person," Reynolds claimed. "I mean, you guys have all been duped. You think he's this benevolent ambassador to your country. People don't realize he's from Winnipeg, Canada."

"Truth hurts sometimes," the actor went on, "It makes your eyes water. Hugh Jackman's a fraud!"

Well, we know that Jackman isn't about to take that too easily. The Greatest Showman star took to his official Instagram account to send a message to Reynolds. Check it out below.

Okay, that's just hilarious. But in case you were wondering, the "feud" is just a long-running joke between the two. We still believe they have great respect for each other although they enjoy trolling each other on social media.

Reynolds is currently promoting his new film Free Guy, which follows a non-playable character in a video game that ends up trying to be a hero who needs to complete a mission. Jackman is currently preparing to appear on Broadway in the musical The Music Man next year.

Free Guy will premiere on July 3, 2020.
