Marvel Head Kevin Feige has a Specific Scene He Wants to Do with Magneto

With Disney acquiring Fox late last year, it's only a matter of time before we see the X-Men and Fantastic Four join the ranks of the MCU. Marvel head Kevin Feige had revealed in an interview what he wanted to do with X-Men's Magneto but they never had the resources to pull it off.

In a recently uncovered interview with Maltin on Movies (via ComicBookMovie), Feige explains:

"In the comic books, there was this great panel at the time, where Magneto would use his magnetic powers to take a gun and split it into all its component parts. So it was an amazing drawing and I had it up on my desk. And I went, 'wouldn't it be cool to do that?' No. We couldn't do that. We had wires that lifted up a shotgun and turned it around."

The moment he's talking about was during the first X-Men movie which he produced back in 2000 where Magneto takes all the police's guns and points it at themselves. Though Magneto never got to have Feige's favorite moment in the movies, Jean Grey did the "gun-splitting" trick in X-Men: The Last Stand.

It would probably be a long time before we get to see the Marvel Fox heroes show up in the MCU, but hopefully Marvel Studios comes up with the perfect way to add them into the universe. They did a splendid job with Spider-Man: Homecoming; I bet they can work the same magic with a new batch of X-Men.

For now, the next Marvel Fox property getting a release is Deadpool 2, and it comes out May 18.
