Today is Betty White's 96th birthday, and in true Deadpool fashion, the Merc with the Mouth has a greeting for everyone's favorite Golden Girl.

White already has a special mention from Deadpool from the Wet on Wet teaser, and I think it's a nice touch that she also gets her own greeting. I'm curious just how much Golden Girls is going to play in on the sequel since Ryan Reynolds revealed that Deadpool's katanas are named "Bea" and "Arthur" (alluding to Betty White's Golden Girls co-star Bea Arthur).
As for White herself, her longevity has been a long-running gag in pop-culture. It's amazing how such an old woman still has the energy and spunk whenever she appears on television. I'm not surprised if she makes a cameo in this Deadpool sequel.
Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch and stars Ryan Reynolds as the titular character. Along for the ride are Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino; coming back will also be T.J. Miller reprising his role as Weasel, as well as Morena Baccarin as Vanessa. Other characters making a return will also be Dopinder the cab driver, Blind Al, Colossus, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Deadpool 2 comes out May 18.
