A Reddit user who claims to have read the script of Star Wars: Episode VIII has revealed the entire plot of the movie, so better look away now if you want to be surprised with plot twists when the film is released next year.
According to Redditor "LouEvilOne," The Force Awakens sequel will explain why Rey is strong with the Force as well as reveal an "I am your father" plot twist that will shock fans.
We won't go heavily into that though. You can read the alleged "leaked details" of the script in the link at the end of this article.
We will, however, reveal a few less major plot details.
LouEvilOne says that Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker will be in the upcoming film as Force ghosts. In addition, Benicio del Toro and Kelly Marie Tran's roles were described in detail.
Del Toro will play a political leader who must run the crumbling Republic following the devastating Starkiller Base planetary attacks in The Force Awakens.
Meanwhile, Tran will apparently be one of Leia's (Carrie Fisher) contacts who will later be involved in a semi-romantic subplot with John Boyega's Finn. The two will be tasked to study the underground area of a city on an important planet of the Republic. If this is true, it aligns with Boyega's comments about Tran last month where he was impressed and called the actress a "new star."
Rian Johnson is directing Episode VIII, which is currently shooting at London's Pinewood Studios and on location at Donegal in Ireland. The film is rumored to be shooting in the Irish isle of Donegal, as well as Las Vegas in the U.S.
As for the title of the film, the Reddit post claims that it will be called Star Wars: Echoes of the Dark Side.
Some of what was described in the leak do look plausible, but I can't believe how some of it are true. Still, it's amazing what some fans are able to come up with when it comes to Star Wars.
