Kevin Smith Invites Stan Lee To Live With Him, Amidst Elder Abuse Concerns

The current saga regarding Marvel icon Stan Lee has been very tragic. It's clear that the 95-year old face of Marvel is going through a lot of turmoil, with the recent death of his wife and various people in his life wanting to exploit him in one way or another.

What's even sadder is that we'll never really know the true story and the only ones who do know are in his inner circle. Unfortunately, they all don't seem to like each other and are spinning the story in so many different directions that the public doesn't know what to believe. One very clear thing about all of this is that Stan Lee needs help.

Kevin Smith, a comic book fan, and director who has worked with Lee a number of times has offered to let the legend stay at his place. Smith even asked if the fans could do something for him, maybe even buy him a new place. It's a sweet gesture from the director and we can only hope that he has Stan's best interests at heart.

Here is hoping something good happens to Stan soon. If he really wants to continue going to conventions, that's fine but he really needs people who care about him.
