Kevin Feige Responds To Questions Regarding Miles Morales Appearance In The MCU

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Spider-Man: Homecoming.

As expected, Spider-Man: Homecoming is doing pretty well in cinemas, raking in a lot of great reviews as it wows fans with its humor and its surprise Easter eggs. Now, with so much success piling over, fans are hoping to learn more about these different Homecoming Easter eggs and what they mean for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

One of these Easter Eggs teases the potential appearance of Miles Morales, an Afro-Hispanic teen who is the second Spider-Man to appear in the Ultimate Marvel. The character was referenced in Homecoming in a rather subtle way – Donald Glover's Aaron Davis, the uncle of miles, appears in the film and mentions his nephew. Now fans are eager to know whether this means that Miles might hop into the MCU, however it seems like Kevin Feige is still unsure whether the character might make an appearance.

Speaking in an interview with IGN, the Marvel Studios president responded to questions regarding the Miles Morales Homage with:

"Just like we referenced Dr. Stephen Strange in The Winter Soldier, we wanted to give that homage that he's out there in the MCU somewhere. If and when we see him, I don't know."

It's such a shame that Marvel won't make any confirmations regarding Miles Morales now, but while Feige is still not seriously thinking of bringing Miles into the MCU, things could change in the future.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently screening in cinemas.
