Judge Dredd and Howard the Duck Might Be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 could feature Howard the Duck and a Judge Dredd-like character come its release next year.

This speculation comes after reports of Sylvester Stallone getting spotted in Atlanta, presumably for the filming of the Marvel movie. This news of Stallone is yet to be confirmed by official sources, but there is now more information on his alleged involvement in the film as well as Howard the Duck's appearance in the movie.

According to On Location Vacations, Stallone's costume during his sighting at Atlanta looked similar to Judge Dredd. Fans have since been speculating what scene in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 the character might be involved in.

Well, an insider from MCU Exchange confirms Stallone's costume as definitely of Judge Dredd's, who isn't a Marvel character but nevertheless similar to the description of other Marvel Universe characters. The site notes that characters befitting Judge Dredd's profile include Kree accuser and Black Nova.

The MCU Exchange tipster also confirmed a Howard the Duck scene shot last week in Atlanta. The beloved character's appearance has long been speculated by fans.

If these rumors prove true, Howard the Duck's appearance during the Guardians of the Galaxy post-credits could be scripted, as opposed to previous reports that the clip had been unexpectedly put together after a supposed epilogue was taken byCaptain America: The Winter Soldier.

Right now, we don't know how significant Howard the Duck's or Judge Dredd's roles will be (if reports are true), but I think it would be more fun to see these characters when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5, 2017. The more the merrier!
