Han Solo Movie Locations Leaked

It might take a while for Star Wars fans to get the next spinoff movie, the Han Solo standalone, however many are as excited as ever as the film prepares for production early this year. The iconic role of the rough-and-tumble smuggler has been passed on to young Hail Caesar! actor, Alden Ehrenriech, and many are eager to know how the Han Solo spinoff would come out. Though it's a little bit early to get word on the film, new reports reveal the filming locations of the Han Solo standalone.

According to a report by ElBlogDeCineEspanol (via Comicbook.com), the locations of the Han Solo movie being directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord have been leaked online. One of these locations is on the Fuerteventerua island. Politically owned by Spain, the island can be found right off the African coast. Other parts of the movie will also reportedly be filmed in Italy, probably around its cities. Caserta City was a big location for the Star Wars prequels with its Royal Palace serving as Amidala's Palace in Naboo.

Though it may not seem like much, the locations tell us that Ehrenriech's Han Solo might find himself in another Tattoine outback, or he'll find himself exploring Naboo. Maybe that's where Solo will find Emilia Clarke's unnamed character. We'll just have to wait and see.

The Han Solo spinoff is set to premiere on the big screen on May 25, 2018.
