Harrison Ford Spotted Mentoring Alden Ehrenreich at Lunch

Now that LucasFilm and Disney has let go of Harrison Ford's version of the gruff and sly smuggler, Han Solo, all eyes turn to the character's next torch bearer, the younger Hollywood actor, Alden Ehrenreich. Given how massively iconic the role of Han Solo is, Ehrenreich definitely has large boots to fill as he plays the part of the younger version of the smuggler in Disney's upcoming Star Wars spinoff, Han Solo. Luckily, it looks like the young Hail, Caesar! star has the help of the original Han Solo himself.

Yesterday, a fan caught Ford and Ehrenreich having some lunch together in a restaurant called Chalmuns in Santa Monica. Snapping a photo of the two from outside the restaurant's glass window, it seems like the two are in a deep discussion about a topic we are yet to know about. Could Ehrenreich be asking Ford for some advice on how to smirk the way he does on camera? Could he be asking about the truth on who shot first in the Cantina? Or maybe they're talking about what to do with that whiny son of theirs, Kylo Ren?

For now its all up in the air what Ford and Ehrenreich are really up to. What's certain is that Ehrenreich has the support of Ford, the original Han Solo.

Starring alongside Emilia Clarke and Donald Glover, Ehrenreich's Han Solo standalone is slated to premiere on the big screen on May 25, 2018.
