Christmas Day Update on Carrie Fisher, From Her Mother


On Christmas, Carrie Fisher's mother Debbie Reynolds tweeted a picture with a statement saying that "Carrie is in stable condition" and that if there are any changes, she will share it. Debbie also thanked the outpouring of fans and celebrities who have been wishing her daughter well during this tough time.

Star Wars co-stars continue to show support for Carrie, including Mark Hamill who shared this Christmas message on Twitter:

Carrie Fisher remains in the ICU after suffering a massive heart attack on December 23rd on a plane flight. According to TMZ, Carrie was flying from London to LAX when she suffered cardiac arrest and was administered CPR. E online also reported that an EMT happened to be on board the flight and assisted Carrie.

The whole ordeal happened less than 15 minutes before the plane was scheduled to land. Immediately after landing she was rushed by paramedics to a hospital.

Carrie fisher is best known for portraying Princess Leia in the Star Wars saga, and recently published a book, The Princess Diarist. She is age 60.
