With the second season of Stranger Things coming out this month, Netflixi is doing what it can to promote the sequel to one of their biggest shows. A 8-bit game has been created for ST, and it's now available to download for free.
It looks like any classic Pokemon game and it seems that you can play any of the characters from the show. It also looks like power-ups or items will take the form of Eleven's favorite Eggos.
Stranger Things was a surprise hit back in 2016, and the show seems to have started a Stephen King craze that carried over to 2017. We already had the reboot of IT and DarkTower come out this year, and later in the month we get some more Stranger Things.
This time around, Will Byers is no longer missing, but the effects of the Upside Down have started showing themselves to him in the real world. With the Demogorgon gone, the boys will also have to go against a much larger monster which has only been referred to as the "shadow monster."
Here's the official synopsis:
It's 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
Stranger Things 2 comes out on Netflix Oct. 27.
