Peter Capaldi has officially bowed out of the Doctor Who franchise, and has now been replaced with Jodie Whittaker. We don't know much about her character yet, but BBC has just dropped this teaser which probably includes several hints.
Besides highlighting all the would-be companions of the show, I've noticed that there's been a lot of close-ups of the food. I imagine that they would hint at Doctor 13's personality. After all, Doctor 11 was very much into fish sticks and custard.
As for the magazine titled The Beano, I'm thinking that this is either a hint at the first episode or maybe the Doctor's new catchphrase. Capaldi's Doctor actually dropped the catchphrase trend, but his three predecessors had very distinct ones i.e., "Fantastic!" (Nine), "Allons-y!" (Ten), and "Geronimo!" (Eleven).
Of course, some people think that Doctor 13's catchphrase has already been revealed to be "Brilliant!" but I wouldn't doubt it if the showrunners wanted to use something more unique.
As of now, no specific release date has been announced for Doctor Who 11, but a lot of Whovians are crossing their fingers that we get an official date come SDCC 2018; not to mention a full trailer.
Doctor Who 11 premieres on BBC sometime this fall.
