Auntie Edna: Incredibles II Promo Teases Short Featuring Jack-Jack and Edna

The Incredibles II came out as one of the biggest animated movies of the year, and later this month, the film will be coming to home video. What's cool is, the home release comes with a short featuring Jack-Jack and Edna Mode called Auntie Edna, and a new promo has been released giving us a little tease.

From the get-go, you can already see similarities with the first film's short Jack-Jack Attack. The video still looks like an in-depth exploration of Jack-Jack's abilities, but instead of a distraught babysitter, we have Edna Mode on top of things. Good thing she looks well-equipped.

Though the reveal of Jack-Jack's powers was a twist ending for the first movie, I'm glad that the sequel was able to explore his abilities even further. As for the choice of powers for Jack-Jack, it was said that a regular baby itself was unpredictable already—so the same should probably apply for a super-powered one like Jack-Jack.

Going out of The Incredibles II, a lot of people could say that Jack-Jack was definitely one of the highlights of the film. Besides the whole bit with the raccoon, it was also fun to watch him interact with Edna, who was more than eager to care for the super-powered baby.

The Incredibles II came out to be one of the most successful animated films of 2018, and we don't really see that much competition coming out any time soon. Sure there's Wreck-It Ralph 2 coming this November, but at this point, it's really just Disney competing with itself.

Catch The Incredibles II on digital Oct. 23 and on Blu-Ray Nov. 6.
