Brad Bird Dismisses The Incredibles II 'Plot Hole'

Brad Bird once again made a hit with The Incredibles II this year, and just like every other hit movie, every detail has been harshly scrutinized by fans. A Wyatt Wu decided to bring up a ‘plot hole' that he spotted towards the end of the film, and Bird there to immediately debunk it.

Check out the exchange:

Like Bird said, it didn't seem that he needed to show in the film exactly what went down after the boat was stopped. Naturally, there would be an inquiry as to what went on in the boat, and with Evelyn Deavor behind bars, there's a lot of evidence to back the claims of the supers.

Though I don't think that the sequel was a great as the first Incredibles, I think that this movie was still a great expansion of the world. With the way superhero films are being made left and right, The Incredibles II still manages to ask a question that somehow seems relevant in today's climate—what with a lot of people looking up to certain figures.

The movie actually wrapped up neatly, but I bet some people would want another follow-up soon. With the success that was generated with this film, I think Pixar is already cooking up plans for an Incredibles III. Though I don't expect Bird to come on board this time around, I'd be happy if was actually able to finish an entire trilogy of an animated superhero franchise.

The Incredibles II hits digital on Oct. 23, and Blu-Ray on Nov. 6.
