Wonder Woman Soundtrack List Drops Possible Plot Clues

The final trailer for Wonder Woman pretty much left us breathless and in awe. But more than that, we finally got to see a few more scenes and clues as to where Diana Prince's story may lead us once the movie's out.

But the trailer isn't the only thing that will provide us with more clues. Hot on the heels of the trailer, Warner Bros has finally released the soundtrack list for the movie (via CBM)—and the titles alone are great clues as to the flow of and possible appearances in Wonder Woman.

We already know that the story will start with Diana's own beginnings—a child who wonders about man and who's warned about them at the same time. This makes sense in the soundtrack, where the first is Amazons of Themyscira, followed by History Lesson. We assume that the second one refers to Diana being taught about the myths of men and the fair warning.

There's also a little hint of pain, loss, and love—it could be Diana's decision to break away from the Amazons to go to men. This also makes sense in conjunction with the following track, No Man's Land.

There are other nice hints at play, such as the shout-out to Ares, The God of War and Lightning Strikes—a possible hint to Diana's origins as Zeus's daughter. There's an inclusion of Fausta, but a quick search through Wonder Woman's history only brings up an Nazi woman enemy named Fausta Grables. She had been present in Wonder Woman TV, as well as a stint in the comics. Wild speculation here, but, is it Dr. Poison?

I am very much interested in the last two tracks though. Granted, To Be Human by Sia is probably meant for the credits, but Action Reaction sounds foreboding following a celebration. And it may pertain to a good bridge between winning during the early time of the War and towards who she will be as Diana Prince in Justice League.

Wonder Woman will be out in theaters on June 2.

Synopsis:
Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.
