To No One's Surprise, Avengers: Infinity War Has Made a Ton of Money

Avengers: Infinity War has made a ton of money. Also, water is wet, rocks are hard, and no one can see John Cena. The highly anticipated Marvel movie has already made a ton of money via the countries that got to see it earlier and now the Thursday night showings are in and it seems like Infinity War is going to be a financial success.

Variety has confirmed that Infinity War has made $39 million via the Thursday night screenings alone, making it the fourth-highest preview total in history. It only limps behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two.

The Thursday screening also helped Marvel beat their previous record Avengers: Age of Ultron set of $27.6 million back in 2015, making it the highest preview showing in Marvel history. It's easy to see why too since this is the biggest Marvel movie ever made, featuring characters from The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and more.

It will be interesting to see how the film does during the weekend, which is when most people will be able to see it. Expect it to do well since Marvel has been building up to this film since the very first Avengers movie.

Avengers: Infinity War is now showing in theaters.
