ThePredator reboot by director Shane Black is one of the more anticipated films coming out in 2018. However, aside from a really cool poster, not much has been revealed about the upcoming film. Thankfully, that has changed, as actor Thomas Jane has shared details on the film's plot and it sounds amazing.
In an interview with Shadow Nation, Jane gave a brief description of the film's premise. Jane explained that the story will focus on a group of "shellshocked soldiers," who are arrested and are in the process of being transferred to an army hospital. Apparently, one of the soldiers is being targeted because he thinks he saw Predator ships come to Earth.
Our group of shellshocked soldiers is going to be gunned down, but they decide to fight back and take on the Predators themselves. Frankly, it's an insanely intriguing premise that could dive into the mental health of these kinds of people, whilst also giving us the return of the Predators. Shane Black is known for balancing humor and action well, as seen from The Nice Guys and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, so this should be a fun film.
The Predator will hit theaters on August 3, 2018.
