The Walking Dead May See A Big Bang to End Mid-Season Drought

It's going to be the mid-season finale the next time we get to see The Walking Dead. However, far from the previous episodes, there may have a number of skirmishes, misunderstandings, and probably a new issue involving resident coward now turning to be a useful guy Eugene.

Actor Josh McDermitt, who plays the role, revealed that a lot has happened to his character, particularly with his many dealings with Rosita. For one thing, Rosita has changed from the chill girl to one who just needs the chill pill. Every scene has her brooding and giving the smolder stare when confronted by Negan.

According to Entertainment Weekly, instead of just crying for what happened, McDermitt teases that the mid-season finale will end with a bang.

"The wolf is in the hen house. You know, Rick right now is not in Alexandria. He's off on a supply run or something with Aaron, so we're gonna see more of that and what happens there."

You all remember the teaser of Negan shaving off his heavy beard, donning a plain white shirt to sit at the head of the household table like a family man.

And then there's the scene where he has his leather jacket, white shirt, almost clean face until you realize it's blood on him again. Rick is, once more, looking very distraught about the whole thing. And it makes you wonder—are we in for another cliffhanger? Oh dear heavens, no.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays, 9 pm, on AMC.
