One of the most heartbreaking scenes in Crisis on Infinite Earths is Oliver Queen's death in just the first episode of the crossover. It proves to be one of the most unforgettable scenes in the five-part event and it looks like the fans aren't the only ones who consider this scene memorable. As it turns out, Stephen Amell does too, but in a slightly different way.

In the first hour of the event, The Monitor brings Green Arrow back to his friends to say one last goodbye after the hero decided to stay behind to hold off Anti-Monitor's shadow demons. The final cut showed that Queen was surrounded by his friends, but Amell wasn't actually talking to anyone while he shot the emotional scene on set.

On a recent episode of Michael Rosenbaum's Inside of You podcast, Amell shared his frustrations with filming his death scene. "They were trying to wrap Caity [Lotz] and Grant [Gustin] before I shot the coverage of the scene where I died," the actor said. "I blame no one for this, but this is a scene with me from Arrow that's taking place on Supergirl, with a Supergirl crew, with demands on both Grant and Caity." Amell says they were trying to pull out the pair so that "Flash and Legends don't mess up their day the next day."

"Meanwhile, the f-cking Green Arrow was laying on a gurney trying to deliver his lines to something other than a f-cking tennis ball," Amell revealed. He says there were "lots" of scenes where he acted while there were no other actors on set and Amell thinks it's "not an acceptable way of creating the best product."

Despite filming with a tennis ball, Amell managed to deliver his lines effectively and definitely made the fans emotional with Arrow's death scene.
