Star Wars: The Last Jedi Concept Art has Finn and Rose Wearing Fancy Disguises in Canto Bight

There were a lot of scenes and ideas in Star Wars: The Last Jedi that didn't make the final cut, but we can always get our best visualization of them from scrapped concept art. The Canto Bight sequence originally had Finn and Rose stealing fancy disguises, and some art has leaked online of what they could have looked like.

Check it out:

The funny thing is, it was supposed to be revealed later that the outfit that Finn has on is backwards, and some more concept art shows him properly wearing the suit:

I'm bummed that we didn't get this sequence in the story, since the costumes look amazing, but I guess it would have been an unnecessary segway from the main mission—which was to find the codebreaker. I just wish we could have seen Rose wear something other than her Resistance jumpsuit or a First Order uniform.

Though some may be consider Rose to be ‘useless' in the movie, I thought that her character's journey was to provide a foil for Finn, who still has a lot to learn about the galaxy. Hopefully she gets a more interesting arc when it comes to Episode IX.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now available on digital and Blu-Ray.
