Fans of the previous Star Wars Extended Universe, now labeled as Legends by Disney, jumped for joy when Tag and Bink were confirmed for Solo: A Star Wars Story. The two minor Jedi characters had made their name through older Dark Horse comics by Kevin Rubio, often unknowingly or deliberately influencing events in the various Star Wars films. Now that the two are officially part of the new canon, Marvel has decided to reprint the adventures of Tag and Bink in a big one-shot.
According to Bleeding Cool, the one-shot, called Star Wars: Tag & Bink Were Here #1 will collect STAR WARS: TAG & BINK ARE DEAD #1-2, STAR WARS: TAG & BINK II #1-2 and material from STAR WARS TALES #12. It's a nice lengthy one-shot, so fans won't have to scavenge through Amazon or eBay to find ridiculously expensive copies of the trade paperback.

In Solo: A Star Wars Story Tag and Bink will be played by Jon Kasdan and Toby Hefferman respectively. Briefly seen in the trailer, it will be interesting to see how the two influence the events of the spin-off film, especially since the story is set years before A New Hope.
