Star Wars Legend Harrison Ford Helps A Woman Out Of A Crashed Car

Harrison Ford might sound like a grumpy old man sometimes wanting himself removed from the Star Wars franchise, but the pop culture icon certainly knows how to jump into action like a real hero when the situation calls for it.

The Star Wars legend just saved a woman who had crashed her car off of the California State Route 126 yesterday, hopping out of his vehicle to help the woman out to safety while paramedics were on the way.

According to TMZ, there are several eye-witness accounts claiming that Ford had been driving behind the motorist who had lost control, crashing into the side of the road in the Santa Paula, California area. The Star Wars and Indiana Jones legend was one of the motorists who immediately pulled over to help the woman out of the crashed car. Thankfully the woman only sustained minor injuries.

This isn't the first time Ford's lent a helping hand though. Despite having wanted Han Solo to die for years, the pop culture icon is a big old softie who likes to help out others in their time of need. Aside from the heroic car crash rescue, Ford also assisted the NYPD during this fall by helping direct civilian traffic around another vehicular accident that occurred at the Queens-Midtown Tunnel.

While Ford will no longer be appearing in the Star Wars franchise, the 75-year-old actor will be reprising his role in Indiana Jones 5 in 2020.
