Star Wars: Episode IX Production Start Reportedly Revealed in Casting Call

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is still being edited and the Han Solo Star Wars Story film just started principal photography this week, but now we're getting some buzz about Collin Trevorrow's Star Wars: Episode IX already thanks to the casting call that revealed when its production will begin.

Episode IX, the sequel to this year's Star Wars: The Last Jedi, will begin filming in July 2017, MovieCastingCall.org revealed. That's probably the wrap date for the Han Solo movie.

The current loglin for the film is "The upcoming ninth film in the Star Wars saga and the final film in the sequel trilogy," so don't expect to see any plot details anytime soon.

Star Wars: Episode IX is expected to release in 2019.
