It looks like Paramount isn't too worried about losing Chris Pine and Chris Hemsworth in the next Star Trek film. There are speculations that the studio is tapping on their tested-and-proven star Megan Fox in Star Trek 4.
Fox recently shared an Instagram story showing the actress with Star Trek Into Darkness actor John Cho. Fans took a screenshot of the image and immediately began speculating about the Jennifer'sBody star in Star Trek 4. It got even more interesting when the official Star Trek Twitter account retweeted the post with a cheeky caption. Check it out below.
Although that doesn't confirm anything, it wouldn't be a surprise if Fox ends up working on Star Trek 4. After all, the actress has appeared in Paramount's successful franchises like the Transformers films and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies. For now, her involvement in the next Star Trek film has not yet been confirmed but an announcement could be made in the near future.
Star Trek 4 recently lost Pine and Hemsworth when the stars couldn't reach an agreement with Paramount on their salary. Although Pine is expected to be a part of the fourth film, Hemsworth's involvement is an interesting one considering his character was killed off in the first movie. However, the Thor: Ragnarok star may have been needed to reprise his role as Kirk's father in a storyline that goes back in time.
The future of Star Trek 4 is still unclear for now. However, we might get an update addressing Fox's involvement or a production start before the end of the year.
