Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City Drops Creepy New Trailer


A reboot of Resident Evil is here with another trailer and this time, Welcome to Racoon City, gives all the chills as they drop the creepy teaser. More than that, it also has a lot of callbacks from the game where it is based on which the players of such will surely spot easily.

The trailer starts with a humble abode in Raccoon City where a girl encountered various scares. There is also the scene that is familiar to gamers as “Itchy. Tasty.” is written on the window. There are a lot of imagery that calls back to the game where it originated and it will center on Claire Redfield who would unravel the conspiracies around Umbrella Corp creating human bioweapons.

The upcoming Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City will be directed by Johannes Roberts and it is expected to be more faithful to the game as compared to that of the version of Paul W.S. Anderson. As seen in trailers, it seems that the movie could remain faithful to its source material.

Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City stands as a reboot of the whole film franchise and it will happen where it all started. The movie would explore the early days of the apocalypse and some scenes are as if you’re playing the game. This time, the zombies also sport a rather different look than other zombie movies plus there are those creepy creatures from the game that would make your hairs on the back stand.
