Following the announcement that there will be a Spider-Man game coming exclusively to the PS4, fans rejoiced. There are only a handful of information officially announced, but if a new leak is actually true, then the most unlikely source may have outed the game's plot.
ComicsBeat spotted the post over at IMDB. The leak not only provides a very vague release date of 2017, but also a brief synopsis:
"Spider-man must fight the terrifying foe Green Goblin as he contends with his usual life of being a married man with a daughter. But when the Goblin hatches a sinister plan, can Spidey save his family and himself?"
This description points to a more mature Spider-Man, which already discounts any connection with Spider-Man: Homecoming. Of course, leaks like these should be taken with a grain of salt. Since IMDB is not the best venue to announce something as important as this, it is still possible that this description is fan-made than legit.
Still, not tying in with the upcoming movie has been a confirmed slant for the PS4 exclusive Spider-Man game. Also, previous talks about the game also touched on the fact that Spider-Man should have also grasped his powers enough that he is no longer a teenager in the game.
