Nintendo Giving Away Ash Pikachu For Pokemon Sun And Moon

Pokemon gamers can finally get their Ash's Pikachu from Pokemon Sun and Moon.

According to a report by Game Spot, Nintendo's decided to celebrate the Pokemon series'20th-anniversary movie, Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You by giving away six different kinds of Ash Pikachu to gamers. Wearing different sports caps that ash had throughout the anime, these fluffy busters arrive with variations of movements that reflect the different attacks Pikachu had in the Pokemon animated series.

Here's how to get the Pikachu. First off, gamers should try to choose the Mystery Gift option taken from the menu screen of the video game. After that, the game will prompt the player to input a code. After that put in the code "PIKACHU 20" and pick up the Pikachu you want.

Here's a list of the six different Pikachu that a gamer can receive and a list of Pikachu t they'll be getting depending on when they input the code.

• September 19-25: Original hat
• September 26-October 2: Hoenn hat (Ruby/Sapphire)
• October 3-9: Sinnoh hat (Diamond/Pearl)
• October 10-16: Unova hat (Black/White)
• October 17-23: Kalos hat (X/Y)
• October 24-30: Alola hat (Sun/Moon)

It might not seem much of a giveaway, but it does mean a lot to gamers who've been following the franchise for years.

Pokmon the Movie: I choose You is getting a limited theatrical run from November 5 until November 6, 2017.
