New Good Omens Set Photo Shows David Tennant’s Demon Crowley Before He Gets “Bookshop Drunk”

Earlier this week, Neil Gaiman gave fans their first look at David Tennant's version of Crowley and Michael Sheen's version of the angel Aziraphale in the upcoming television adaptation of his book collaboration with Terry Pratchett, Good Omens.

Now, the fantasy writer gives fans a new look at the demon Crowley in a scene from Good Omens. Taking to Twitter, Gaiman decided to show off a shot of Crowley "dining in Picadilly" with Aziraphale.

"A cocktail pianist is playing Bohemian Rhapsody. Crowley & Aziraphale are dining in Piccadilly. In the next scene, they get bookshop drunk."

Gaiman also shared a photo of Tennant from the second day of shooting Good Omens in St. James Park, "feeding the Victorian ducks," with his ginger hair covered by a tall black hat.

Good Omens production seems to be coming along smoothly, with Gaiman playing around behind the camera. It's interesting to see the writer take some time off to snap a few photos of the cast on set. It's been a month since Amazon cast Tennant and Sheen for the parts, and since then fans have been excited to see the two bring life to Crowley and Aziraphale on the small screen.

For those who aren't familiar with the book, Good Omens tells the story of two unlikely friends, the bookkeeping angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowle. The two team up to keep an eye on the Antichrist so they can enjoy living on Earth with man, however, it seems like the two manage to mess up and watch over a normal boy instead.

Good Omens is scheduled to air on Amazon Prime Video sometime in 2019 before releasing on BBC 2 at a later schedule.
