Here’s Our First Look At David Tennant And Michael Sheen In Good Omens

Neil Gaiman fans finally have their first look of David Tennant's version of the demon Crowley and Michael Sheen's version of the angel Aziraphale in Amazon's television adaptation of Terry Pratchett and Gaiman's fantasy-comedy book collaboration, Good Omens.

The award-winning fantasy writer of books like Sandman, American Gods, and Neverwhere, has just recently taken to Twitter to share a photo of Tennant and Sheen in the series' opening scenes taken in St. James Park.

"They are amazing," Gaiman wrote on the post. "This is them in the opening scenes, 11 years ago, in St James's Park. David and Michael, demon & angel."

Amazon cast the two actors a month ago, and since then fans have been pretty much excited to see Sheen and Tennant in Aziraphale and Crowley's garb. Tennant did excellent work playing Jessica Jones villain Kilgrave, and many believe that Doctor Who star is definitely suited for the demon's role in Amazon's Good Omens. Sheen's comely face also makes him cut up for his role as Aziraphale.

"I first read ‘Good Omens' as a teenager and it's been one of my favorite stories ever since," Sheen told Variety in an interview last month. "To be part of the team entrusted with bringing it alive on screen is a bit of a dream come true, to be honest. To work alongside Neil, who I think is one of the greatest storytellers of all time, is incredibly exciting. And, just like the rest of the world, I'm a huge fan of David's so I relish trying to save it with him."

We definitely can't wait to see more of them once the series premieres.

Good Omens is scheduled for a worldwide release on Amazon Prime Video ahead of its BBC Two broadcast in 2019.
