Marvel's Spider-Man: Insomniac Games Teases More Features After Releasing Latest Patch

What else is there to say about Marvel's Spider-Man? The game is amazing and is one of the best superhero titles in recent memory; even eclipsing Batman: Arkham City to some players. Unfortunately, it's an easy game to beat and fans have been begging for a New Game Plus option from Insomniac Games.

Insomniac Games released a new patch update for Marvel's Spider-Man, aka Spider-Man PS4, and no, it does not add New Game Plus. However, it does some new filters to the game's very good Photo Mode and fixes a number of bugs that have plagued the game.

Thankfully, Insomniac Games are aware that fans want more content to come to the game and they have asked players to be a bit patient. In the tweet, they even say that there is "more to come!" which is an exciting bit of information for fans of this spectacular game.

New Game Plus is a must-have feature for fans of the game since they want to use some of the costumes from the start. A number of the unlockable suits are only made available once enough progress has been made in the main story. Two outfits, in particular, can only be used after the main story has been finished, which is a little disappointing.

Expect the new feature to be added once the first DLC chapter comes to the game next month. Insomniac Games confirmed that each DLC chapter will add a new costume to the game, along with new villains to take on like Black Cat. Whatever happens, it's just nice knowing that we will get more in-game content for this excellent product.

Marvel's Spider-Man is available now on the PS4 and is exclusive to Sony's gaming system. The DLC episodes will be coming to the game on October, November, and December respectively.
