Halloween is a great way to introduce some fresh blood into the scene. And while Marvel Puzzle Quest won't go too gory, it will be refreshing Blade by introducing Blade (Modern) remix.
Over at Marvel, producer Josh Austin shared a few details on the new 4-Star variant, and just why he is such a useful upgrade despite the abilities of the 3-Star Blade already available in the game.
Blade (Modern), as the new revamped character is called, will be focusing on vampire hunger, compared to the current one, which is more focused on weapons. What this does is to give players more leeway and control of red AP, as it will be needed to transition from the first power to Bloodlust.
More than this unique power, Blade (Modern) is also a good addition as a support character and teammate for generating red tiles.
"Blade (Modern) is hungry for red AP and because of this, he works well with anyone that generates red AP."
This means he will be the perfect teammate for the attacks of the likes of Jean Grey (Phoenix), Magneto (Marvel NOW), Cyclops (Uncanny), Kamala Khan, and Wasp.
Blade (Modern) will be in available in the game on Oct. 20. Marvel Puzzle Quest players can earn him in The Hunt and some days later on Oct. 24 via the Venom: Heroic Vault. Blade will also have his own PVP event starting Oct. 27. Players who can't get him before that will still have the Halloween Limited Vault opportunity on Oct. 28.
