Kevin Feige: Spider-Man Far from Home Could Be Stan Lee’s Final Cameo

Stan Lee may be gone, but we know that Marvel Studios has a whole bunch of cameos that he filmed before he passed away. We don't know how much Marvel has on hand, but we seem to have confirmation that Lee will be appearing as far as Spider-Man: Far from Home—and that would be the last of it.

Talking to Entertainment Tonight, Marvel president Kevin Feige confirmed an appearance from Lee in Avengers: Endgame. When it comes to Spider-Man: Far from Home, Feige said, "We'll see. We're heading– We shot a couple of others, so we're coming up on the last of them, yes."

Some fans think it would be fitting that Lee's final appearance would be in a Spider-Man movie, given that he's the favorite of all his creations. We don't have official confirmation on Lee's cameo yet, but if there should be a last one, I think Spidey should be the one to send him off.

Then again, before Lee passed, he did say that he was eager to shoot more cameos if he was permitted. Some believe that he's given Marvel Studios his blessing to keep putting him in the films via a digital model. That way, Lee could live on in the films forever.

It's just a silly fanboy theory, but I like the thought that Lee would live forever in the movies—just like he does with all these characters that he's created.

For now, expect Lee to make an appearance in Avengers: Endgame which comes out April 26. Spider-Man: Far from Home comes out July 5.
