Kevin Feige Says The Future Of The MCU Includes Moon Knight

The future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Avengers 4 might be a bit uncertain while Marvel fans are busy anticipating Avengers: Infinity War, however, it seems like Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige seems interested in giving Marc Spector his own flick in the future.

Screen Rant recently spoke with Feige during a press junket for Infinity War, and during the interview with the Marvel Studios honcho, the publication asked about the MCU's potential plans for Moon Knight. Though we still don't know what kind of films James Gunn has planned for the Marvel Cosmic Universe, it seems like Moon Knight might have a future with the studio.

"Yes. Does that mean five years from now, 10 years from now, 15 years from now?" Feige replied. "There are stacks of character cards that we have in our, in our development offices, which we look at. Which we pull for him, which we discussed."

There's been quite a number of fans asking for Moon Knight to appear in the MCU over the years. A former military member who later on becomes a mercenary, Marc Spector is a character who finds his life changed when the Egyptian moon god Khonshu grants him a second life after a deadly fight during a mission in Egypt.

Turning into the Moon Knight, Spector then embarks on other-wordly missions and eventually becomes part of the Avengers. Though it's definitely going to take a few more films till Marvel finally gets to reach Phase 4 of the MCU, the idea of having Moon Knight on the big screen sounds terribly exciting.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres this Friday, April 27.
