Kevin Feige Claims Next Four Marvel Movies Are 'Unique'

While most people love the movies that come from Marvel Studios, an argument can be made that their films can be a bit repetitive. Iron Man, Ant-Man, and Doctor Strange are textbook examples of the "Marvel Formula" term that fans have coined. Kevin Feige is promising that the next four films - Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Ant-Man and Wasp - will be unique and different.

During the Red Carpet premiere of Thor: Ragnarok, Feige was interviewed about the film and he claimed that these next four movies would be different. It's an interesting statement since he's basically admitting that some of the MCU movies can be a bit formulaic. Still, if Feige's words are true it will be nice seeing some variety in these Marvel Studios films, even though the more recent films were still pretty good.

Thor: Ragnarok doesn't look that different from something like Guardians of the Galaxy, but if the positive reviews mean anything that comparison isn't a bad thing. Black Panther looks very different from a typical Marvel film and could be a surprise hit amongst fans. It's hard to say how Ant-Man and Wasp will be like, though the first Ant-Man film was a really fun flick. Avengers: Infinity War will probably feel like a comic event, building off the previous momentum of the other movies.

Fans will be able to check out Thor: Ragnarok on November 3.
