Michelle Pfeiffer Praises The Script For Ant-Man And The Wasp

Though she was in the first movie briefly, we'll be seeing more of the original Wasp Janet Van Dyne in the sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp. Michelle Pfeiffer will be taking on the role of Hank Pym's missing wife, and she has nothing but nice things to say about the script.

Talking to Variety, Pfeiffer explained:

"It had this great sense of humor about it and just this unusual tone. This new script has the same thing. It's nicely written."

Granted it's been a long time since Pfeiffer has appeared in a superhero film, a lot of fans will remember her as Catwoman in Tim Burton's Batman Returns. This time around, Pfeiffer will be one of the good guys, and hopefully we get to see just exactly what happened to Janet Van Dyne after she went sub-atomic.

So far, we still have no main idea on what Ant-Man and the Wasp will be about, but rumors have suggested that it will be another heist film, and the history of Hank Pym's run as Ant-Man will be delved into. We also know that one of the main villains of the film will be the Ghost, an expert hacker with a suit which lets her phase through walls and turn invisible—at least, that's what the Ghost did in the comics.

Michelle Pfeiffer will debut as Janet Van Dyne in Ant-Man and the Wasp which comes out July 6, 2018.
