It Looks Like Joss Whedon Won't Be Getting Director Credit For Justice League

With Zack Snyder leaving Justice League and Joss Whedon stepping in to direct, a lot of people were curious as to who will get the director credit in the end. A new TV spot for JL gives us a brief list of the credits, and it looks like Snyder is taking sole credit as director of the movie.

Check it out:

As you can see, Snyder is the sole name on the director credit, but Whedon has been given a screenplay credit for the movie. I also never noticed this before, but Christopher Nolan is also on the Executive Producer listing along with Ben Affleck.

After news came out that Snyder was leaving the project, it was said that Whedon had stepped in and redone a huge chunk of the movie. A big problem was said to be the whole story, and Whedon was said to have changed it and kept most of the action scenes the same.

As of now, we'll just have to wait for the movie to come out and maybe we'll get more details on which parts were changed after Whedon stepped in. Lucasfilm was said to have done the same thing with Gareth Edwards Rogue One when they asked Tony Gilroy to redo a huge chunk of the movie; the film still ended up a success and Edwards was the only one who got the credit. We'll see what happens when Justice League comes out.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes -- Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash -- it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League comes out Nov. 17.
